Explore the Temple of Poseidon

 Arrival at Sounio around 10:30 am to 11:00 am. First and foremost there you will visit the temple of Poseidon, do a tour around the temple in the archeological place which has some leftovers from the temple of Athena Sounias.

Spare Time & Activities at Sounio

Later you will leave back the temple to have a dive on the beach (must have a swimwear with you!!). The beach is quiet with crystal clear water and it’s a real wonder of the nature. It is a great chance to swim there. Highly recommended.

Afterwards we suggest to you to try the Greek traditional cuisine. There is a variety of restaurants to eat. Those restaurants are nice placed near the coast and they have wonderful seafood dishes to taste.

In the end, the best part is to go back to the temple of Poseidon and take late evening pictures of the most beautiful Athenian sunset.
